António Manuel Amaral Monteiro Ramos, António Manuel Ramos is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at University of Aveiro, Portugal. António holds a BSE in Mechanical engineering in 2001 (1996-2001) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2002-2005) from University of Aveiro. Both his graduate work and industry experience in project and product design, specifically the area of medical devices and new furniture products. António Manuel Ramos performed his postdoctoral research in the group of dynamic with a grant by FCT research in cork behavior and Rheology materials for dynamic control, in 2007 to 2009. He is an expert in product development and in biomechanics, whose research interests include design of medical products over a broad range of applications from prevention of main traumatic injury and new products in different fields. António Manuel Ramos teach in the University of Aveiro, Product design and rapid prototyping and other classes in Mechanical and product design course.
