Deniz Sera Ertay

Deniz Sera Ertay has been working in Nikon SLM Solutions since October 2021 as a Senior Material Parameter Development Engineer. She is mostly focused on developing parameters for Al-alloys and statistical material data analysis on core and NXG systems at Nikon SLM Solutions. Before joining Nikon SLM Solutions, she completed her PhD degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. She worked on process modeling and monitoring of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) process to optimize the post-process machining of the additively manufactured parts. She received her master’s degree in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of British Columbia, Canada and my bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.
