Théo Racine

Théo Racine achieved his material engineer degree in 2020 in the Polytech Nantes school. He also achieved the International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification the same year. Since then, he has started to work as a R&D engineer for Naval Group company on its Nantes-Indret site to develop the Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) process. His main efforts are building and conducting studies on several technological bricks relying to the development of WAAM process. I also take part on the manufacturing of prototypes, before, during and after the fabrication. He tries to anticipate potential issues that could occur during the deposition as well as optimize other deposition conditions in order to increase the readiness level of the solution before transferring it to the industrial department.
