Biography
I am a mechanical engineer from Arts et Métiers and a Ph.D. candidate at the I2M Laboratory (Institute of Mechanics and Engineering, Bordeaux). My research focuses on in-process monitoring and characterization of metal additive manufacturing using infrared thermography. I develop experimental and numerical methods to achieve absolute temperature measurements during the process by combining accurate infrared camera calibration with surface emissivity correction. My goal is to improve the reliability of thermal measurements and to establish a quantitative relationship between thermal history, microstructure, and defect formation in manufactured parts. In parallel with my Ph.D., I lead VOLTA, a company I founded to help industrial partners showcase their products and technical processes through design, assembly, and 3D animation. Passionate about metrology, scientific imaging, and advanced manufacturing, I strive to develop diagnostic and monitoring tools that enhance process understanding and quality in metal additive manufacturing.
