Digital manufacturing is now demonstrating its capability for mass production and optimized service performance through additively manufactured applications. Currently it is observed that there is a stabilization of the solid technologies in use and its confirmation by significant increase in printing rates. This describes how the sector is converging with success into real digital factories floors, justified with proven business cases and with recognition to the solid technical foundations developed over the last decades.

HP Additive Manufacturing case is presented as an example of this evolving journey and success cases will be shared as demonstrators. Accelerators to mass productions will be described and its impact will be evaluated. Examples are the expansion of highperformance qualified materials, the offer of specific mass production print modes and the high mix low volume productions on support of the technology demonstration. This impulse is happening at the exact right moment of Additive Manufacturing integration into real-world factories.
