Mohamed Alshahaht

Biography

Mohamed Alshahat, born in 1993 in Egypt, graduated from Cairo University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. He completed his master’s degree at TU Dortmund, where he conducted his thesis on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) of Inconel 718 using pulsed laser processing. Since 2024, he has been working as a research associate at the Institute of Manufacturing Technology and Materials Testing at Ulm University of Applied Sciences. His current research focuses on Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) of aluminum alloys.
