Biography
Frédéric Bajard, as a board member, has been the COO and CTO of Binc industries group since company foundation in 2002. Dipl.-Ing from ECAM Lyon, he has a formal experience in tooling (plastic mold) and precision mechanics (automotive casting and machining). In the last 21 years, he has worked in different project : building the first French facilities, implemented all worldwide facilities, trained employees, and supported subsidiaries team to develop MMP business. This experience makes him as a surface and tribology expert in turbine (aircraft engines), transmissions (Formula 1) and tooling, supporting OEM and racing team to success. He is focusing now to support European sales team to develop business.

Metal 3D printing technologies is now mature.
Today, there are several possibilities to build a piece with a complex design. Pump or compressor impellers have a very particular design which often requires complex tools for foundry or very long and expensive machining.
The latest developments in 3D printing make it possible to build these designs in good conditions, but the limiting factor remains the roughness obtained by this additive manufacturing technology.
Binc industry has made developments with its partners to solve this problem and obtain wheels with performance required by high tech industries.
